For our 6th-12th grade students, we desire nothing less than leading them to follow Jesus. We recognize that being a teenager is one of the most formative times of life and that teenagers need healthy relationships with God and with one another. Everything we do in Hillcrest Students serves the purpose of growing our students into stronger followers of Jesus. We also recognize that parenting teenagers comes with its own set of challenges. We want to be an encouraging and helpful partner to parents during this time as well. We firmly believe that parents are the #1 spiritual leader in the life of their child, and we want to partner with and equip parents as they lead their children to follow Jesus.
On Sunday mornings, our students meet in our Student Building for small group Bible studies facilitated by our awesome adult volunteers. Our groups are divided up by grade and male/female. We are currently using the Gospel Project curriculum to guide our study through the Bible from beginning to end.
Our students regularly attend the evening worship service in the Worship Center on Sundays, as well as lead worship as the choir. We also regularly schedule times for our students to hang out for organized game nights on Sunday evenings.
Every week in our Student Building, we have a mid-week student worship service where students gather for games, worship, and a sermon aimed specifically for teenagers. The sermons on Wednesdays work through books of the Bible or through topics relevant to our teenagers.
We know that parenting teenagers can be challenging, and we are here for you! We know that parents are the #1 influence in a student's life! Our desire is to equip parents to use that influence to lead students to follow Jesus. We would love to get to know your family and minster in any way we can!
If you have questions about anything we have going on, or need help with anything you've go going on, let us know!
Our ministry to teenagers could not happen without the dedication and love of our volunteers. They are one of the most integral parts of our ministry, and we would love to have you join with us!

After you submit your application, we'll invite you to come check things out! You'll be invited to see everything we do before you commit to anything. We also want to see where you fit, and we'll work with you to find the best place for you to serve. We'll have you complete a background check and we'll partner you with one of our current volunteers so they can show you the ropes.
